Who We Are and What We Do

C.H.A.R.M. exists to bring the hope found only in Jesus Christ to incarcerated men and women, correctional personnel, and their respective families. With this one goal in mind, we have built our ministry on two foundational ideas: relationships and Jesus Christ.

At C.H.A.R.M., our desire is to have real, personal, and lasting relationships with incarcerated men and women. We look beyond their current circumstances and see an individual created in the image of God. A person known and loved by God and worth getting know.

Through one-on-one relationships, we introduce them to the hope found only in Jesus Christ and lead them to reconciliation with God. We stand with them while they are behind the walls and walk beside them as they transition back to society.

Built on the foundational ideas of relationships and Jesus Christ, we use a three-fold ministry approach that begins while men and women are incarcerated and continues through their transition back into society. Each year, C.H.A.R.M. reaches thousands of inmates incarcerated in Texas through hundreds of ministry events.
